It's not always easy being a princess, especially when a wicked enchantress has placed a spell on you since birth. In an attempt to try and protect his only daughter from harm, the King has sent his two trusted fairies to raise Princess Adelaide in a humble cabin deep in the woods. But even the best laid plans are no match for the curse of the wicked witch who discovers Adelaide's location right before her 16th birthday and sends her into a deep sleep just as she always said she would do. But every spell has a loophole, and we soon discover that Adelaide's curse can be broken and she can be awaken by a kiss from her one true love.
