ARTISTIC DIRECTOR, PLAYWRIGHT, PRODUCER
Phill W. Hill is a seasoned artistic director, playwright, and producer with over 15 years of professional experience in the Northeast.
As an Artistic Director and Producer, his vision is marked by exploring themes that resonate with contemporary audiences while simultaneously pushing the boundaries of conventional theater. With a discerning eye for scripts and an unconventional approach to storytelling, Hill's numerous stage productions have consistently captivated and entertained audiences and critics alike.
Since 2014, Hill has been delighting audiences with his unique brand of storytelling. Combining elements of British Panto, Italian commedia, farce, and parody, Hill has developed a style that turns traditional stories on their heads. His unique style is energetic, hilarious, engaging, and exciting for children and families alike.
His anthology of over 25 Theatre for Young Audience shows and his new multi-media performance series, Decades in Concert, has garnered critical acclaim and are available for licensing through Family Entertainment Live LLC.

BIO
A graduate of Elon University's class of 2005 with a degree in Theatrical Production and Design, Phill's professional theatre career began at Greenville, South Carolina's Warehouse Theatre where he was the resident Production Stage Manager from 2005-2007. Needing a change of scenery, Phill relocated to Bridgeport, Connecticut where he found his home at the historic Downtown Cabaret Theatre where Phill had tried his hand at playwriting with an original adaptation for Robin Hood. Phill has since become the Downtown Cabaret Theatre's resident playwright, penning four original children's musicals a year since 2014. Phill has developed a unique writing style he affectionately refers to as "American Panto," utilizing a number of classic elements from British Pantomime but catered to an American audience. Phill is passionate about creating unique stories that employ big, colorful characters, exciting music, and over-the-top humor that appeals to the whole family. Phill has garnered praise for his writing from critics and audiences alike leading him to his current position of Artistic Director and Producer for the Downtown Cabaret Theatre.
