Originally trained as a Stage Manager at Elon University, Phill's career in management started at Greenville, SC's Warehouse Theatre in 2005 and continuing in Bridgeport, CT's Downtown Cabaret Theatre in 2007. 

While Downtown Cabaret's resident Production Stage Manager, Phill gained experience as a stage manager for a variety of production types including plays, musicals, dance, children's theatre, standup, and concerts.

This continued until 2014 when Phill became Production Manager and took on a larger leadership role within the organization. Phill was responsible for coordinating and managing all Cabaret productions from initial concept meetings through strike. 

In 2023, Phill left the Downtown Cabaret Theatre and became the Production Coordinator for the Sheen Center in lower Manhattan where he continues to build on his management experience in the New York City market today.
