In 2010 while still at the Downtown Cabaret Theatre, Phill transitioned from stage management to production management where he began to oversee all areas of production from concept through strike. In addition to being the resident lighting designer, Phill became responsible for production scheduling, casting, organizing and running all meetings, budget tracking, hiring crew, and supervising all production departments. With full Main Stage and TYA  seasons running in rep, Phill was responsible for managing as many as 4 different productions at any given time.
